Launch of Our Powerful New Book – Love is the Strongest Force

We are beyond proud to announce the launch of our brand new book, Love is the Strongest Force – a moving and powerful piece of work written entirely by the children of The Mill Primary Academy.

This incredible project was facilitated by the brilliant Janey in Room 13, our unique creative studio space where children's ideas, voices, and artistic expression take centre stage. Over several weeks, the children explored and discussed the world around them – the things that inspire them, concern them, and make them think deeply.

One theme kept coming up again and again: division. The children reflected on the way the world can sometimes feel separated – by differences in opinions, countries, beliefs, or experiences. But through their conversations, artwork, poetry, and writing, they were united in one clear and hopeful message: Love is the strongest force.

This book is their voice – thoughtful, powerful, and full of heart. It captures what our pupils feel about the world they are growing up in and how they hope it can be better. In many ways, it’s a reminder to us all that the future is in safe hands. The leaders of tomorrow are already speaking – and we just need to listen.

We are so proud of every child who contributed and of Janey for helping guide such an important and meaningful project. Love is the Strongest Force is more than just a book – it’s a call for empathy, unity, and kindness.
